Apr 16, 2012 • J Bennett Fitts sought to photograph abandoned pools throughout the US for his series "No Lifeguard on Duty." Yes there is a post apocalyptic quality to the shots, but what really grabs my attention is the juxtaposition of these rotting, decayed structures in what once was, or otherwise is, a scene of leisure.
