I first came across photographer Alex Prager‘s work in a copy of W Magazine a few months ago. The film still quality reminds me of Cindy Sherman’s work – while the overexaggerated scenes of every day life reminds me of how Gregory Crewdson stages his work. I also am obsessed with her use of color!...

J Bennett Fitts sought to photograph abandoned pools throughout the US for his series "No Lifeguard on Duty." Yes there is a post apocalyptic quality to the shots, but what really grabs my attention is the juxtaposition of these rotting, decayed structures in what once was, or otherwise is, a scene of leisure.
